Safety Policy

VGCINEMA exists to give filmmakers cinematic tools — not to amplify harm. This policy describes the categories of content and conduct that are prohibited, and how we enforce against them.

Strictly prohibited

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexualization of minors in any form.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including AI-generated "deepfake" nudity of real people.
• Realistic impersonation of a real person without their verifiable consent — including public figures, politicians, and private individuals.
• Content that incites or glorifies violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
• Content designed to defraud, including face-swap scams and identity fraud.
• Targeted harassment, doxxing, or threats against an identifiable person.
• Hate speech that dehumanizes a protected class.
• Election interference and deceptive political deepfakes.

Restricted (require care)

• Graphic violence, gore, and extreme content — permitted in artistic context only, never gratuitous.
• Adult themes — must be tagged appropriately; explicit pornography is not supported.
• Likeness of real people — only with documented consent.

How we enforce

• Pre-generation filters screen prompts for obviously prohibited content.
• Output review uses automated classifiers on generated videos.
• Account action ranges from warning, to credit removal, to permanent ban for repeat or severe violations. No refunds are issued for bans related to safety violations.
• Legal reporting — CSAM is reported to NCMEC and the appropriate authorities. We cooperate with valid law enforcement requests.

If you encounter content that violates this policy, email safety@vgcinema.ai with a description and any links or screenshots. We review every report.

Provenance & watermarking

We embed cryptographic provenance signals (C2PA-compatible) in exported video so downstream platforms can identify AI-generated content. We support — and encourage — visible labelling of AI-generated content where the context calls for it.
