Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how VGCINEMA ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our AI video generation platform (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account data — email address, display name, and authentication identifiers.
- Content data — prompts you enter, settings you choose, and the videos generated for you.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see your card number.
- Usage data — credit consumption, model selection, generation timestamps, IP address, device and browser metadata.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the Service, process generations, and manage your account.
- To process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with tax and accounting obligations.
- To improve quality, debug issues, and monitor abuse.
- To send transactional and (optionally) product emails.
3. Sharing
We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service: our cloud hosting and database provider, our AI model providers (e.g. Fal.ai), our payment processor (Stripe), and our email provider. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, UK GDPR, etc.) you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email privacy@vgcinema.ai to make a request.
5. Retention
We retain account and generation data for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account removes your prompts and generated videos within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain billing records.
6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising trackers.
7. Honesty & accuracy (GDPR Art. 5)
We commit to describing our data practices truthfully on this page. We do not collect, sell, or share categories of personal data beyond what is listed here. If our practices change, we will update this page before the change takes effect and notify affected users by email where required. Misrepresenting data practices is a violation of GDPR Article 5 (lawfulness, fairness, and transparency); we treat truthful disclosure as a baseline obligation, not a marketing choice.
8. Email & CAN-SPAM compliance
Transactional emails (receipts, password resets, render notifications) are sent as part of the Service. Marketing or promotional emails are sent only with your consent and always include:
- A clear, one-click unsubscribe link in every message.
- An honest subject line that accurately reflects the content.
- Our physical mailing address in the footer.
Unsubscribe requests are honored within 10 business days, as required by the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. EEA/UK users receive marketing email only on an opt-in basis (GDPR / PECR).
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We will post material changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
